Would you rather be right or safe? This is a hard lesson that I found myself in this week. Once as a teacher and once as a learner. My husband's variation on the question was, "Would you rather be right or dead?" My little friend's question was, "What if someone's been picking on me for three years?"

Things I learned in October: 31 days is a long time to do something . I know there are study’s that say that if you can perform the same task for 21 days straight it becomes routine and an effortless habit. 21 days; 31 days; that’s a long time and along the way life happens.
